Arrival in Paradise
Welcome to the Maldives
Arrive at Velana International Airport (MLE), where your Maldives escape begins. After completing arrival formalities, guests will be welcomed and assisted with the onward resort transfer. Depending on the selected resort, the journey will continue by speedboat, seaplane or domestic transfer to the private island. Upon arrival at the resort, complete check-in and settle into your Beach Villa, surrounded by white sand, tropical greenery and the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. The remainder of the day is intentionally kept at leisure, allowing guests to relax after their journey, explore the resort, enjoy the beach or simply experience their first Maldivian sunset.
Arrive at Velana International Airport (MLE), complete immigration and baggage formalities, and meet the local resort representative. Guests will then be assisted with their onward transfer to the selected private island resort by speedboat, seaplane or domestic connection, depending on the resort location, enjoying their first views of the Maldives’ turquoise lagoons and island landscapes along the way.

Resort staff will arrange the internal luggage movement and villa transfer, allowing guests to move seamlessly into their new setting above the turquoise lagoon. One Last Morning in the Maldives
Enjoy breakfast and a relaxed final morning at the resort before checking out from your Overwater Villa. At the scheduled time, resort staff will assist with luggage and departure arrangements. Guests will then travel from the private island back to Velana International Airport (MLE) by the confirmed resort transfer — speedboat, seaplane or domestic connection, depending on the resort location. Upon arrival at the airport, proceed with international departure formalities for the onward journey.

Getting Here: Most international travellers arrive in the Maldives through Velana International Airport, near Malé. From the airport, guests continue directly to their private island resort by speedboat, seaplane, or domestic flight with onward speedboat transfer, depending on the resort location. Resort transfers are normally coordinated in advance with the accommodation booking.
Airport & Flight Transfers: The package includes round-trip transfers between Velana International Airport and the selected resort. Depending on the resort, this may include: Speedboat transfer for resorts closer to Malé Scenic seaplane transfer for more distant islands Domestic flight + speedboat connection for selected remote atolls Exact transfer method and timing will be confirmed once the resort and international flight schedule are finalised.
Private Helipad & Charters: The Maldives primarily uses seaplanes, private aircraft, speedboats and yachts rather than conventional resort helipad transfers. Private seaplane, private speedboat, yacht and premium aviation arrangements may be coordinated on request, subject to resort location, aircraft/vessel availability, operating hours, permissions and weather conditions.
